During the months of January and February, The Awakening Crew hit the road. First, Max and Geordan traveled to Winter Park, Colorado for the first ever Altitude conference. Altitude was a huge hit! The conference merged powerful services, youth fellowship, and great spirit-lead worship with the extreme mountain sports of the Rockies. Max and Geordan had a blast hanging out with teens from across the country. However, more importantly, they saw God move in the lives of many teens.
Next, Max traveled to Gatlinburg, TN for the Accelerant conference. Almost 3,000 teens from the east coast were a part of this massive event. We had some powerful services with Eddie James, Beth Stephens, and Charles Boyd. The event also featured a concert with Rush of Fools and Barlow Girl. We can’t wait to be a part of Accelerant next year.
The Awakening booth drew tons of people at both conferences! Some had hearts for missions, some just wanted to hang out, and some were curious about our upcoming trips across the globe. Before long, the booth was one of the main hangouts before and after service. We want to thank Discipleship Ministries and the leadership of these events for allowing us to be a part of these conferences.
